This recipe is an adaptation from an Ortega recipe. I have to admit, I have not tried it yet.
It is a bit weird and different. The chilehead in me thinks that it sounds very interesting to possibly good!
Ingredients
- 1 quart Vanilla ice cream; slightly softened
- 3 teaspoons jalapeño, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Grated lime peel
Process
- Combine ice cream, jalapenos and lime peel
- Return to ice cream container and refreeze until firm
